Being the iPhone addict that I am, I use a lot of apps and what kinda beauty blogger would I be if I didn’t use beauty apps? I’ll be telling you ladies my favourite beauty apps so, those with an iPhone should get to downloading!
I’ve noticed that some magazines have launched iPhone apps of their own. A lot of them are just the same and in a way, Marie Claire’s app is very similar to the other apps I’ve used however, there are a lot more looks available on the Marie Claire Beauty Genius.
When you click on the look you want, Screen Siren for example, you get a few videos on how to achieve the look like the skin, eyes and eyes. Then, you’re given a list of the products used to achieve the look. I think this app is a lot like what you get with the YouTube beauty gurus as you get a video and then the products however, it’s a makeup artist creating the look on a model and it’s a lot more professional.
To top things off for the app, I love how you can email Marie Claire and make some suggestions of looks you want to see from them. It’s exactly like a beauty guru/blogger, you request the look you want to see from her and she’ll do a video and it’s like that too with Marie Claire’s app!
